THE BRAID
A signature element of the house. A woven braid that traces the raglan sleeve, revealing a dialogue between tradition, texture, and the continuity of craft.
STRIPES
Each stripe is crafted individually, then assembled one by one. Designed to frame the cuffs and natural silhouette of the coat. Over time, we have developed subtle variations, including wave-like forms that appear along the hem. Reflecting structure and fluidity coexist in the drape.
CUBIC MOTIFS
Inspired by the logic of tessellation, these motifs are composed of precisely assembled geometric forms, creating a subtle three-dimensional effect, forming a harmonious surface. Every individual piece is cut so that the natural flow of the hair falls downward. Crafted from reclaimed remnants of our own production, these motifs are applied exclusively to unique pieces, combining innovation, and sustainability.
INNER EMBROIDERY
Conceived as an ornamental gesture, reveals the singularity of our construction. Unlike a traditional tailored sleeve, it reveals the raglan form. Introduced from the inside, it becomes a quiet signature of the house. The raglan sleeve construction is the outcome of over twenty years of Tom’s personal long-term exploration of structure and wearability.
HAND-FINISHED STITCHING
A distinctive mark reserved for our most special pieces. Executed entirely by hand using a double thread, this finishing technique brings a subtle artisan texture to te piece.
A CULTURE OF CRAFT
At Tom Gutie, we work closely with our artisans to create pieces entirely made in Perú. Each piece is shaped within our own manufacture, where time and intention define every stage of the process. Comprising 85% women, our makers are personally mentored by Tom from the very beginning. He passes on his technical expertise and a shared vision of craftsmanship. Ensuring a consistent standard of excellence, while opening meaningful paths for professional growth.

Each artisan is guided through the art of coat tailoring and attains the highest standards of excellence. THE MAKING
Each collection is crafted in limited quantities, dedicating time and care to ensure uncompromised quality. This deliberate way of working enables us to reduce waste and minimize our environmental impact. By using only the necessary amount of materials and machinery, we avoid excess, preserve resources, and limit CO₂ emissions.
