Culture & Education
At Tom Gutie, we understand Corporate Social Responsibility as an active commitment to education, culture, and the industry. This is achieved through our project Nurturing Talent, an initiative dedicated to cultivating Peruvian talent within the fashion ecosystem. Under this concept, we participated in the fifth edition of fROOM, a creative laboratory where fashion students materialized the identity of Tom Gutie through an editorial campaign.
fROOM (Fashion Room) is a practical training hub led by David Iraola, with editions in Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco. Its primary focus is the transfer of real industry processes, allowing students to lead highly complex projects, from conceptualization to final production, in collaboration with leading brands and professional teams.
Through this alliance, we provided students with the tools to understand and materialize concepts, fully covering the areas of creative direction, fashion styling, production, and art direction. The project’s central objective was for participants to identify and differentiate the brand’s three pillar styles, building visual narratives for each within a real production environment alongside a professional photography, makeup, hair, and styling team.
As a result, our essence was translated into a comprehensive visual proposal; an honest and timeless narrative that highlights our heritage and mastery in tailoring. Through this process, students successfully understood and communicated our identity from a contemporary perspective, emphasizing the versatility and functional character that define our pieces.
This collaboration, driven by our commitment to culture and education, aims to professionalize emerging talent by transmitting our brand's know-how to the next generation. By fostering this vision, we reaffirm our mission to educate and build a legacy for Peruvian fashion that transcends time.
