ANDES TO ALPS: A PHOTOSHOOT BY ANA LENDL WITH TOM GUTIE

MISS GRAND GUATEMALA 2025, MODEL, AND JOURNALIST, TRANSFORMS THE STREETS OF VIENNA INTO A CANVAS, DRAPED IN A TOM GUTIE PIECE THAT SERVES AS A BRIDGE BETWEEN HER TWO WORLDS.

Ana Sofía Lendl, a 27-year-old professional model, digital journalist, and interior designer, is the reigning Miss Grand Guatemala 2025. She recently led a photographic production in her hometown, Vienna, Austria, featuring a signature piece by Tom Gutie. Ana spent a significant part of her childhood in Guatemala, the country she considers her true home. Currently residing between Europe and the United States, she has consolidated a career that blends art, fashion, and communication. Her primary mission is to use international platforms to promote Latin cultural values.

“Wearing Tom Gutie in Austria, I felt like I was carrying a piece of the Andes into a completely different landscape, letting it exist, breathe, and be reinterpreted through my own story.”

Ana reveals that the concept behind this production stems from a sense of global belonging. She wasn't seeking a conventional portrait, but rather a capture of her own reality: that of a woman constantly transitioning between Europe and the United States, but whose roots remain intact. For her, identity can be, at the same time, an armor and a deep-seated root, proving that true elegance is the ability to inhabit multiple realities without losing one's essence.

“For me, the inspiration came from this duality: a woman who is grounded in her roots, yet constantly moving between cultures, spaces, and identities.”

The power of the cape. The chosen Tom Gutie piece, the Soleil Cape, serves as the perfect language for a woman who lives between cultures, proving that one can be global without ceasing to be faithful to one's own story.

“The cape itself has a presence that naturally evokes strength and femininity at the same time. It doesn’t need to be forced; it creates its own silhouette, almost like armor, but soft.”

What began as a photoshoot in the streets of Vienna transformed into a manifesto of identity for Ana. Under the lens of a minimalist aesthetic, Miss Grand Guatemala 2025 uses a key Tom Gutie piece to explore the contrast between her European heritage and her Guatemalan heart. It is not just fashion; it is designed with intention. A high-impact silhouette that acts as a visual bridge between the structure of the Old Continent and the strength of contemporary Latin design.
