IN YOUR CLOSET
Whenever possible, store your coat on a hanger. Choose a sturdy hanger with wide, contoured shoulders to help preserve the garment’s silhouette.
Ensure there is enough space for the coat to hang freely, without the hem folding or resting against another surface. Leave space between garments to prevent compression.
Store your coat in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from moisture and sunlight. To protect it from dust, use the breathable garment bag provided with your purchase.
WHILE TRAVELING
Whenever possible, transport your coat in a garment bag, keeping it on a hanger. If packing it in a suitcase, fold it carefully with the lining facing outward to protect the outer fabric.
Place it on top of your belongings, away from heavy items, and avoid sharp creases or excessive pressure. Upon arrival, hang your coat in a space where it can fall freely and regain its natural shape and drape.
BEFORE A SPECIAL OCCASION
If your coat develops light creases after traveling or being stored folded, hang it approximately two days before wearing it. This will allow minor wrinkles to relax naturally.
Avoid using an iron or steamer directly on the garment, as heat and moisture may affect the texture or finish of certain fibers. If the creases persist, contact us for guidance on the appropriate care for your piece.
PRESERVING IT'S TEXTURE
If the fibers appear slightly out of place, use a brush specifically designed for the type of fabric. Brush gently in the direction of the natural fiber, taking care not to apply excessive pressure.
